(posted: 8/10/2005 7:57:11 AM) Answer Courtesy of Darryl B.: Duck and slash to defeat each cheetah as you see him. If you run past them, they’ll follow you. There’s a hidden room in a wall on this stage. To find it, go to the right until you make a longer-than-most fall down a wall (there’s a carcass directly next to the wall, which you can walk left into). Inside the wall is a blue beetle to increase Simba’s total roar.

Near the halfway mark of this stage is a room that seems to be a dead end. There are items viewable below, lava geysers, and high walls on each side that can’t be climbed. Stand on the lava geyser between lava blasts and jump to hit the stalactites down. There are two stalactites, each above a separate block leading to a separate path; the left path is the only path that leads to a valuable checkpoint (ignore the 1-Up in the right path).

After hitting the checkpoint, go to the left and drop to land on a floating log in the lava; jump and slash to hit each bat the moment you can reach it (before it flies toward you). You’ll reach a platform with a hyena and a cheetah to fight. The log will continue to float below, and you must move quickly through these two short battles to catch up with the log or you’ll be stranded on this platform. There’s a lUp to the left of the platform to grab on your way back to the log (worth jumping for even if you miss the log). When you reach the next platforms, climb to the top and quickly run to the left, drop, and run back to the right to drop before a boulder rolls over you. As you ride the next log, you’ll see two cheetahs above. The log will hit the wall and stop, allowing you to remain standing on it until it’s safe to jump up and battle the cheetahs. After the next checkpoint you’ll enter a room with four lava geysers. Wait for the first geyser to shoot, then jump to stand on the geyser. Rocks fall from the ceiling in between each geyser burst, and the only safe spot is directly on top of any of the four geysers. After the rocks fall and the next geyser shoots, jump to it, and repeat until you reach the left side of the room, but stick to the left two geysers. Eventually a block will drop and plug up the second geyser, and you’ll be able to stand on it safely. Then another block will land on the first (far left) geyser. Stand on it and you’ll be launched to the next stage.

(posted: 7/31/2006 7:00:17 PM) Answer Courtesy of lionlova: wut you do is , the first time, keep pouncing on him and and hitting him untill he moves on. don't do the over head scrach at all or he will pounce on u and kill you. to get out of this, if you have enough energy, keep pressing the Z and C buttun back and forth fast untill he gets off, it works for me but this move is very difficult. while you are pressing the buttons, simba and scar won't do anything untill simba pushes scar off of him. the second time do the same thing. but after scar moves on go down and defeet the hienas untill they are dead and don't go up but go back to where you had to defeet scar the second time and go up the rock ledges untill u see a bug and get it. it will restor all your energy. the third time, do the same thing as the first and second time but when he starts panting, press the b button, where he scratches single handedly, until he gets to the edge, but not so close to the edge becaus u jump over him and get behind him, scratch him one more time to make him face you and do the trick to throw him over the edge. hopes this helps.

I assume you're refering to the two sets of trees that simba has to cross using the monkeys. The first little "island" has two trees and two rhinos on it. The second has only one tree and one rhino.

The pink monkeys are the ones that move when you roar at them. The first island has two pink monkies, one on a higher branch and one on a lower branch.

1. Roar at the lowest pink monkey on the first island. Then bounce on the first rhino. (The second rhino doesn't bounce you anywhere) You will end up on the second island in a branch by a pink monkey.

2. Roar at the pink monkey. You now want to go back to the first island. However, the rhino on island #2 doesn't take you there. You have to cross the floating logs to get back. This part is tricky!

3. Once you're safetly back on island #1, bounce on the first rhino. (He will bouce you to the monkies, who will deliever you back to island #2. The monkey on island #2 will toss you back to island #1.)

4. You should now be back on island #1 in a high branch by a pink monkey. Roar at the pink monkey.

5. Jump down to the ground and roar at the lowest pink monkey (the same monkey in step 1).

6. Bounce on the first rhino again, and the monkies will toss you over the second three, onto the giraffe and you advance to the next level.

(posted: 4/5/2006 9:45:39 AM) Answer Submitted Anonymously: The hardest part is climbing the logs in the waterfall.  When at the top of the waterslides before this stage of the level jump across to the slide to the far right. Go down the slide holding right.  This will take you to a platform close to halfway up the waterfall where it is easy to begin from. The boss is simple. Dodge the watermelons till he loses his temper and hits the ground at which time you should jump. Follow him all the way up and he proves to be relatively easy.

This is a straight forward guide and I won't waste my time on little side things like 1-ups. Remember, when you enter a cave, you can't leave that are until you have defeated every hyena in that area. Run to the far right and enter the last cave. Jump on the ledge and defeat the hyena. Jump down and enter the cave. Defeat the first hyena and jump on the ledges. Jump down and defeat hyena number two. Enter the cave. In this area there are two hyenas. Watch out for the spike at the bottom. Defeat the one on the TOP before the one on the bottom (If you do the bottom one first, the top one could jump down on you.) Anyway jump up and enter the cave above the one you came from. Before you jump down, keep in mind that there are three hyenas at the bottom and they will gang up on you. If you are low on life, there is a full life bug in the center. If not, save it until after the fight. Enter the cave on the far right closest to the entrance. Defeat the two hyenas and I'm afraid you will have to use your brain on which entrance to choose. Defeat the hyena that's waiting for you by the entrance. Climb those ledges, but watch out. There's a hyena that will try to stop you. If you have good timing then landing on it will defeat it then and there. Behold your mighty power! Enter the cave to the left and you will be in the last area. Proceed with caution for there are four hungry hungry hippos hyenas. Luckily there is a bug in the middle, but it is not a full heal bug. After that you will move on to fight Skar. If you need help with that just ask.

You'll be brought to the Cheat Select screen where you can go to any level you like.

The Stampede.

In the beginning go right besides the one in the middle to the right of the screen. then stay there until the one in the shadow in the far right passes and go as far over to the right as possible. stay there until both sets of diagonals of wildebeasts pass by. then one will come from the middle. and go besides him again and stay in between the middle and the right one. once the middle passes go to the middle and jump two single rocks. then two rocks next to each other. once you pass the rock with the question mark go right in front of where it was. and once the wildebeast to the left passes quick run over the the left side of the screen. then jump the set of three rocks. and run to the other side to jump another set of three rocks.from there go back to the middle and jump the rock. then slightly move over to the right. jump the rock. and stay there until two wildebeast on the left pass by and quick run to the left side. a diagonal of wildebeast will come towards the left. you will have to quickly go over to the right in front of the last/farthest left wildebeast and run to the middle and stay there to jump two rocks. once you jump the second rock run to the left side and stay there. you may have to jump a rock. but then the level is over.  To jump the rocks once you see them wait about two seconds then jump.

(posted: 12/4/2006 11:09:27 PM) Answer Courtesy of shiney: Hit him a few times- after a while he starts to pant. When he pants, hit the arrow towards him and roll your fingers over B and C and you'll throw him. Then hit him again and again until he pants, then repeat and throw him. I throw him about five times before I actually try to get him over the edge. After about the fifth time, you have to get him close to the edge (I always go for the left, I don't know if it's possible to throw him off the right); he should be breathing a lot harder and you should be able to throw him farther. Simba has to pretty much be at the edge, hit Ska twice and when he pants... throw him!

(posted: 1/22/2007 8:08:32 PM) Answer Courtesy of catandherhorse: Play the level until you reach the dead end with the holes that shoot lava. If you look up in this last room you will notice two stalagtites hanging from the ceiling. Jump up and use the B button to knock either one of them down. By doing so, the stalagtites will open up holes in the floor for you to jump into. The first one gets you to a continue, and the other one will give you a 1-up and a bug. Whichever hole you take, they will lead you to the same place. The rest of the level should be easy to follow. At the very end of the level you must jump from lava hole to lava hole. When the lava shoots out of a hole rocks will fall from the ceiling so just stay on a lava hole that does not have lava shooting out of it. The lava holes will not shoot out all at once, but rather they go in sequence starting with the very first one you see. After about a minute or so of jumping from lava hole to lava hole, they will start to be covered by rocks that fall from the ceiling. When the far left lava hole is capped, get onto it, and it will take you up and out to the next level.

Once there are bolders on all of them, go as far left as you can and jump on that one. It will take you to the next level. Hope this helps.

there is no set pattern you just have to keep jumping on logs I know it's really hard. I would suggest try to jump on them in a zigzagging motion cuz that seems to help and try not to stay on logs that are moving faster for very long
