Trine is an action platform and puzzle game, where players control the different characters trying to complete levels. Levels and characters have a full physics interaction. The three playable characters are a knight (melee fighter), a thief (a ranged fighter) and a wizard (a non-combat character who conjures different objects).
The game features a unique co-op feature where players can join in at anytime. Players can combine abilities to overcome obstacles in novel ways to accomplish feats more easily.
