After being dumped by Mur at the end of Submachine 6, the player finds themself in a world (?) where the future and past coexist.
As per Submachine usual, the player must find and activate objects, switches and buttons in order to try to solve puzzles to open up more of the game in hopes of eventually beating it.
If the player gets far enough in the game, they should find themselves surprised by a minor Submachine character from the past being close, along with quite a few twists and elements from a past Submachine making a return, along with more of the Submachine's history and story being expanded.
