MicrophoneI need some help, before my vacation. I need content, and I'm willing to pay for it.

Tonight and very early tomorrow are the last opportunities that I have to work on the site, but I'm being stymied by my obligations at work, being sick, and a refinance of my house.

I was sick on Sunday with some version of the flu. I worked till 9:20 last night, and I have a closing on a re-fi for my house tonight. I have half-dozen articles in progress (Doom 3 expansion review, Doom 3 comparison [XBox to PC], Rayman DS review, TimeSplitters 3 review, A look at Half Life Capture the Flag, and a Wario Ware Touched! review). I fear I won't get them done on time for my vacation. If I don't get them done, the site will be in a tight spot.

I know that I've seen a few submissions trickle in (3 in queue), and I appreciate that. However, I'd love to see them flood in. So, $50 to the person that posts the most accepted reviews OR ARTICLES before 6am EST tomorrow morning.

Here are some article suggestions:
  • An overview of the current / upcoming connectivity options for online gamers (like, to track friends, to talk via voice, to enter games that your friends are playing, etc) - for each platform. Think XFire, Skype, Teamspeak. Give a quick tutorial, maybe take some screens. You'd be shocked at what's out there now, and what's coming in this year. Also, you can tie old games into here - how to use Killaria (sp?).
  • Reviewing all of the major magazines available right now, along with ratings.
  • Strategy articles on ANY game. From the BASIC to the ADVANCED.
  • Exploring games - development trends, "genre gluts", etc etc etc.

PS - prizes will be paid/sent when I get back from vacation (for my sanity), and I prefer PayPal, but will cut a check if need be.

I've decided that I'm going to sweeten the pot for the "2nd Place" and "3rd Place" authors. 

2nd Place:  You will recieve a "Box O Schwag" - classic or new games, a system, stuff from last E3, freebies I got in the mail?!??!  WHO KNOWS!  But it'll be worth your time, in a very scavenger-huntish way.

3rd Place, and maybe even MORE:  You will recieve an "Envelope O Schwag" - all the goodness that can be stuffed into a manilla envelope and still be legal!
