E3 2011: Nintendo Shows Several Zelda Games, Details Skyward Sword

Nintendo used a full orchestra to show off their new Zelda game (Skyward Sword) at this morning's Press Conference.  An extended trailer for the newest in the Zelda franchise, including Skyward Sword opened Nintendo's E3 2011 media briefing.  Horseback riding, eagle flying, sky diving and extended worlds were all shown at the top of the press conference.

The game arriving on the Legend of Zelda's 25th Anniversary is Skyward Sword.  Shiggy took the stage during the press conference to introduce some of the music in Skyward Sword.  Music plays an incredibly important role in the new game, as well as all of the Zelda games.

Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening will be available on th 3DS store by end of day.  Ocarina of Time 3D will also be released this year for the 3DS.

The Legend of Zelda Four Swords will be available as a free downloadable title, as well.

The Legend of Zelda Symphony Concerts will be held by real orchestras around the world this Fall, as a part of the Zelda 25th Anniversary celebrations, and there will be two CDs released.  If you purchase Ocarina of Time, you'll get the soundtrack for free (once you register with Nintendo's Club Nintendo).  The other CD will be the concert CD.
