Battlefield 4: New 17 Minute Trailer, Screenshots - Holy Cow!

Battlefield 4

EA has released a 17 minute game play video for Battlefield 4, and several screen shots to the press. The video is in full high def, and runs through several urban combat environments in the game.  It's an intense reel, and shows off an insane amount of detail - prepare for your computers to melt this Fall.

Without further ado, here's the video - check below the video for two more screen shots!

Several people have commented that the soldier below looks like "Joey" from Friends:

Battlefield 4 - faces

The detail on the above shot is, of course, amazing, with a level of detail we haven't seen before in the faces and outfits - but no hair is on display, so no telling what that looks like.

Battlefield 4 will be released this Fall, and is almost certain to be Rated M for Mature.  People that pre-order the game get access to a special DLC pack.

There's no system requirements published for Battlefield 4, but if you want, you can give EA $70 to pre-order it!  So you can, theoretically own a game you can't play, whee!

This IS pretty killer for a gaming vid!  At first I thought I'd just watch maybe half, then the rest later, but I actually checked out the whole thing in one sitting!

Could have done without cutting off the guy's leg though, but war IS hell...

I was surprised at how good it looks - it's basically the same engine as BF3, but there's a lot more going on.
