Microsoft Announces New Game Pad (8/31/2010 1:50:37 PM) -   Today, Microsoft announced that they will be producing a new controller which features an improved D pad.  While Nintendo holds the patents on the D-pad as we know it, Microsoft has produced a controller which will have both a D-pad configuration, and a "disk" configuration.  When you twist the disc, the controller becomes a raised D-pad, which is hopefully a bit better for fighting games and the like. Xbox Live Price Hike to $60 Starting November 1 (8/31/2010 5:30:20 AM) - Microsoft announced that they will be raising the price of Xbox Live, to $60.  Monthly memberships are also affected.  Starting on November 1, the price of Xbox live moves away from the $49.99 price point and to the new price of $59.99.  If you're only interested in being a member one month at a time, that price will move up from the current $7.99 to $9.99.  Xbox Live will also cost more in the UK, Mexico, and Canada. AMD Kills ATI Brand But Keeps Radeon (8/31/2010 5:10:20 AM) - In 2006, AMD aquired ATI Technologies (ATI).  Later this year, AMD will begin transitioning product brands to the AMD logo, which affects Radeon and FirePro graphics cards.  See above for the new logos being used. Blizzard's StarCraft II Reviewed (8/31/2010 4:50:20 AM) - Once in a while a game comes along that sets the standard for developers and players alike. Infectionator World Dominator Now Available in Stage Select Arcade (8/9/2010 10:38:04 AM) - Infect people, turn them into zombies, and dominate the World!
