Classic Game Review: All Good Things (Vectrex)

Homebrewer John Dondzila sure has done a lot for the Vectrex, which included many "firsts": he released not only the first new Vectrex game in over 10 years after the Vectrex bit the dust, but that game was also the first Vectrex homebrew ever (of Vector Vaders, in 1996). He also released the first Vectrex cartridge with more than one game on it with Patriots, which contained that game and a hidden bonus one on the cartridge as well. And he ALSO broke down many barriers with All Good Things: it was not only the first 16K cartridge for the Vectrex ever, but it also had a whopping five games on it as well...another first.

It'd be REALLY hard for me to go through and tell you and/or show you how to beat each level, because I'd have to dedicate a page of screen shots for each one. So here's a quick fix: FPZJ29(M,G)5 is the password to the last puzzle level.

Tetris for gameboy allowed us to play that game with 2 people! I have been racking my brains trying to find out if there is an original tetris game out there that support 2 players. I like Tetris 2 line color matching style, but I wish I could play the original game in multiplayer on my tv. I have also tried the supergameboy adapter. Any thoughts?

(posted: 6/16/2005 2:13:50 PM) Yes, although more rare than the Nintendo branded NES version, the Tengen NES version did support 2 players. Likewise, Tetris Plus on the Sega Saturn supported multiple players (and had a few variants). Tetris Worlds, available for many systems also allows for multiple players. Hope that helps!
